BMC pack 001 contains fifty drum kits. There are forty impulse set and ten of the kits using drum rack device groups.
The BMC Pack 1 samples are all 24-bit, 44khz in wav format of classic drum machines, perfect for use in every style from classic rock to modern electronic dance music genres.
Using the Live device rack macro controllers you can create an unlimited number of variations from the basic presets. There are seperate controls for the kick drums pitch, decay and volume allowing you to transform the overall kits pitch and sample release while retaining individual control of the kick drums tuning.
Effected racks contain standard reverb and delay as well as more exotic control effects to experiment with.
This pack requires Ableton Live 7 for the drum racks and the one set of twenty impulse device racks and effects.

The instrument consists of eight notes arranged in a circle or Mandala around a central note (called the ding on a Hang).
The sound, which is generated by an FM synthesizer, is varied by four controls: octave, frequency, modulation, and decay.
The notes are based on the scale selected in the settings window. Thirty-three different scales from around the world used in first-generation Hang drums are provided.
A tuning setting allows the player to change the key of the instrument.

The software upgrade adds user sampling and sample-pad triggering to the feature set, letting you expand your sound library. Using the external input, you can capture audio from a microphone, a CD/MP3 player, etc., and assign the recorded sound to a front-panel button where it can be triggered like a pad.

“BPM is a force to be reckoned in the drum machine world. With its huge library and strong feature set, BPM can easily hold its own compared to hardware drum sequencers. BPM’s compatibility with all major DAWs deserves bonus points. I would have liked to have seen a MIDI programmable sound repeat button as well as a hi-hat decay slider as on MPC drum machines- perhaps in a future update.
Nonetheless, BPM is by far the strongest software drum machine currently available. I’ll be looking to see how musicians find creative ways to use BPM, much like the MPC, but in my opinion, MOTU may have officially put all hardware drum machines on notice.” Taken from MacMusic

Strum Electric includes a collection of classic single coil- and humbucker-fitted guitars, a two-channel amplifier with spring reverb, a speaker cabinet, and effects all featured in a ready-made preset library. It also includes an elaborate voicing module which automatically voices chords played on the keyboard as a guitar player would on the fretboard.
Techniques such as down- and up-strokes, slides and bends, hammer-ons and pull-offs, palm muting, muffled strings, and arpeggios are triggered by special strumming keys.
