Phil Collins Speaks About Quitting

British musician Phil Collins has said that he is about to finish his touring, album recording, and generally speaking music career, wrote The Times.

Fifty seven year old musician added that he is going to continue to write music because it’s something he cannot stop doing.

In 2007 there was a concert tour dedicated to the Genesis reunion where Collins participated as a singer and drummer. Besides Genesis (where Collins was from 1970 to 1993) he also collaborated with the jazz project Band X. Phil Collins has performed with Paul McCartney, Robert Plant, Sting, Eric Clapton, and George Harrison.

During his solo career Collins was honored with seven ‘Grammys’ and one ‘Oskar’ for the best soundtrack.  His personal albums became even more popular than Genesis records.  Major hits made by this artists go as follows: Against All Odds, One More Night, Separate Lives, Another Day in Paradise and In the Air Tonight. All of these were written in 1980’s.
