My Bloody Valentine Shall Headline ‘All Tomorrow’s Parties’

The cult-like British band My Bloody Valentine was chosen to be the headliner and curator of the “All Tomorrow’s Parties” (ATP) Festival in New York, said Pitchfork.
This festival received it’s name after one of the songs written by “The Velvet Underground”. It shall last from 19th to 21st of September 2008. It’s going to be the first concert for My Bloody Valentine since their last year’s reunion, and the first performance in the US in sixteen years.
Based on rights of the headliner and curator the band has already formed ATP’s program. It’s planned to make four concerts during which various bands will make the day by playing their full classic albums: Tortoise go with “Millions Now Living Will Never Die”, Meat Puppets – “Meat Puppets II”, Built to Spill – “Perfect From Now On”, and guitarist from Sonic Youth, Thurston Moore – “Psychic Hearts”.
Besides that ATP shall include possibly shorter performances by: Mogwai, Low, Wooden Shjips, Shellac, Polvo, F*ck Buttons, Autolux, The Drones and Tee Silver Mount Zion Orchestra.
