David Bowie Goes Ziggy Stardust Again

David Bowie is releasing the concert album, says New Musical Express.

As it follows from the disk name “David Bowie, Live Santa Monica ‘72” it includes a live concert record that was made during Bowie’s tour around the US while supporting his classic album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stargust and the Spiders from Mars”.  When making this conceptual record Bowie has created a fictional character Ziggy Stargust.  As he told NME at the moment of the concert in Santa Monica he got so close to his imagined character that he even stopped being himself.

The album “David Bowie, Live Santa Monica ‘72” will appear in stores on June 30 including CD and a vinyl double copy.
